Obituary advice - Karen Anne McMillan 1952-2008

Karen Anne McMilIan (Tetreault) of Champlain, N.Y., was welcomed into the everlasting arms of the Lord on March 13, 2008, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 35 years, Steven; son, Chad; daughter, Shannon; and granddaughter, Taylor. Karen was born on July 26, 1952, the daughter of the (late) Roger and Ruby Tetreault of Champlain, N.Y. She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy O'Toole, Laura (Michael) Trahan; brothers, Bryan (Marian), Robert, Allen (Debra), Mark (Jean) Tetreault; and several nieces, nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to all those whose lives she touched. She was a dedicated employee at Wyeth Ayerst for 26 years in Rouses Point, N.Y. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her granddaughter, who was the light of her life. Her hobbies included gardening, interior decorating, planning and preparing large family gatherings. Karen was best known for dedicating her life to providing and maintaining a loving environment for her family and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Calling hours will be held at the Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm St., Champlain, N.Y., on Sunday, March 16, 2008, from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 17, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Champlain. A reception in her honor will be held at the Knights of Columbus, Elm Street, in Champlain, N.Y.
Flowers gratefully declined.
